Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Shutter Speed ("the app"), operated by Shutter Speed Platforms, LLC. For everything not addressed below, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs your use of the app, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

Provided as-is

The app's calculators and tools are provided for planning and reference purposes. While every formula is sourced and checked before shipping, you're responsible for verifying any result before relying on it for a real shoot, purchase, or decision.

Accounts and Location Planner

Location Planner requires a Shutter Speed account. You are responsible for keeping your password private. Pins you save there are stored with your account so they can sync across devices. If you sign in, your other app settings (the same data Backup & Restore exports) also sync to your account. Other tools still work without an account; their settings stay on your device until you sign in.

Backup & Restore files

The app's Backup & Restore feature lets you export your settings to a file you save yourself, and later import that file back in. Once exported, that file is entirely your own responsibility: where it's stored, whether it's shared with anyone, and keeping it safe. The developer has no access to it and cannot recover it if it's lost.

If these terms change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
